Theatre TCU presenting a musical revue for the holidays

Fort Worth, TX
12/1/2008

Theatre TCU's production of We Need a Little Christmas runs Dec. 4-7 at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 6 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m., and Dec. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Buschman Theatre on the TCU campus.

It’s a special pre-Christmas treat conceived by Theatre TCU faculty members Alan Shorter and Harry Parker. The holiday revue includes more than 40 popular Christmas songs and features a cast of eight TCU student singers, two TCU student dancers, and a professional live jazz combo.

You’ll hear familiar favorites such as “I’ll be Home for Christmas” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” along with a handful of lesser-known Christmas tunes. We Need a Little Christmas is sure to dazzle, showcasing the talent within Theatre TCU’s burgeoning musical theater program.

Call the TCU box office at 817-257-5770 to reserve tickets.  It is open from 12:30-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and will open one hour before each performance. Tickets are $10 to the public and $5 to TCU students, faculty and staff. Student tickets (for students from other schools) and senior citizen tickets (for those age 60 and above) are also available for $5.  Please do not bring children younger than six to this production.
