Juan Cole, the Richard P. Mitchell Collegiate Professor of History at the University of Michigan, will be on campus as a Green Honors Chair lecturer for the TCU History Department. His free public lecture is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dee J. Kelly Alumni and Visitors Center, Cox room.
Cole has written many books and articles on the Muslim world and has been an expert commentator on the Middle East on shows such as the Jim Lehrer News Hour and the Today Show. He has lived in various parts of the Muslim world for ten years and continues to travel around the Middle East.
