Dr. Milagros Peña will discuss “A Question of Justice: the U.S.-Mexican Border, Migration and Women’s Mobilization” at a free, public lecture March 10 at 7 p.m. in the TCU’s Dee J. Kelly Alumni Center, 2820 Stadium Drive. She is professor of sociology and director of the Center for Women’s Studies and Gender Research at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Dr. Peña is author of Latina Activists Across Borders: Grassroots Women’s Organizing in Mexico and Texas. The book received the 2008 Distinguished Book Award from the Latino/a section of the American Sociological Association.
