The Henry House Foundation supports the littlest horned frogs at TCU with a grant to the KinderFrogs School

With more than just TCU spirit in common, the Henry House Foundation and KinderFrogs School at TCU, a laboratory school in the College of Education, announce the Foundation’s donation to fund new therapeutic equipment. The Henry House announced the $25,000 grant after seeing the need for assistance and the promising work KinderFrogs does with children with Down syndrome and other developmental delays. This gift will enable the early-intervention educational preschool to stay current with the latest in room enhancements and give the children access to the best possible therapies on both an integrated and individual level.
Founder of the Henry House Foundation, J.J. Henry, a TCU graduate and PGA Tour Professional, is excited to see the Foundation benefit youth on his very own campus. “The Foundation looks to assist tangible projects in the community, and there are not many things more promising than new adaptive equipment and curriculum enhancements for these children,” says Henry. “KinderFrogs benefits both the healthcare and the overall well-being, learning and growth of these children, so what better way for our Foundation to impact youth than through this school.”
The partnership will fund equipment that has been on the wish list of KinderFrogs teachers and staff for quite awhile, and the arrival of the new tools and equipment this spring will bring a new excitement among the children.
“We are so excited to be partnering with the Henry House Foundation. This partnership will provide opportunities for our children. We will be able to make improvements and enhance the education of our students,” said Marilyn Tolbert, Director and Jean W. Roach Chair of Laboratory Schools.
