Dr. Tamás Ungár, director of the PianoTexas International Academy & Festival at TCU, and four of this year's participating young artists are featured on the newest 30-minute episode of Steppin' Out with Sandy broadcast on Charter Cable Channel 31. The program airs at 2 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 29, and at 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 30.
Hostess Sandy Tomlinson interviews Dr. Ungár's about his annual PianoTexas event which attracts aspiring young pianists, talented amateurs and longtime piano teachers for three weeks of studying and performing piano performance. She also spends time with students Yuxi Qin, Sean Yow Chen, Beatrice Rana and Tomer Gewirtzman, who each play excerpts from classical compositions.
