TCU tested TCU ALERT, our emergency notification system earlier today, Thursday, Nov. 5. If you received a message or text there is no need to respond. This was only a test. A test message was sent via text message, campus wide e-mail and voice message to pre-identified University business lines. Please note – campus members who have registered their cell phone numbers in the service received the text message from 89361. All campus members, regardless of cell phone registration received the test e-mail from TCU_ALERT@tcu.edu. If you have not yet added your cell phone number, please go to the home page at www.tcu.edu and click on the TCU ALERT button located on the lower left side of the page. Follow the instructions to add your cell number. Remember in an emergency, TCU will use the following methods to communicate with campus:

• TCU ALERT
• Media
Additionally, TCU has a Twitter page (www.twitter.com/tcu). News and event information about TCU are posted on a regular basis to the Twitter site.
