Jace Thompson has been selected to receive the Mosebrook/Pfizer Student
Leader Award, a $5,000 scholarship for the TCU business student who exemplifies
integrity, stewardship, responsibility, excellence and purpose.
Thompson has a 4.0 GPA, is majoring in Entrepreneurial Management at the
Neeley School of Business at TCU, and is vice president of recruitment for
Sigma Phi Epsilon, as well as a long list of other campus involvement and
community service initiatives, honors and accomplishments.
Thompson said his experience as TCU orientation student assistant taught him
two important things about being a great leader: 1) Leaders earn, not demand,
respect of others. 2) Leaders are looked upon for guidance 24/7.
“I have also taken the same approach in my position as TCU Student Body Vice
President and other leadership roles,” said Thompson. “I realize that the
strengths of leadership are constantly evolving with time and maturity. I
continually sharpen my skills by listening to others and trying my best to
provide for myself and my school.”
Along with the cash scholarship, Thompson will have the opportunity to meet
with representatives of Pfizer Inc. and the Mosebrook family.
