TCU Center for Texas Studies hosts community history workshop

TCU’s Center for Texas Studies and the Fort Worth Public Library will sponsor a free community history workshop Saturday, April 14 from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the downtown Fort Worth Public Library. Titled “Voices From the Past: An Introduction to Oral History,” the workshop will focus on using first-hand accounts to preserve the history of the local area and will be presented by Rebecca Sharpless of TCU’s history department. The workshop is part of the Center for Texas Studies’ goal to increase awareness of Fort Worth’s unique history.
