University celebrates life of Linda Kaye, alumna and friend

Today, TCU celebrated the life of Linda Kaye who passed away Oct. 7, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Kaye was a dedicated friend and alumna of TCU. A devoted photographer and avid sports fan, Kaye touched the lives of many on and off campus. Several distinguised speakers eulogized Kaye's life at the ceremony including John Denton, director of the Frog Club; Jack Hesselbrock, associate athletic director; her high school math teacher; and Jim Reeves, Fort Worth Star-Telegram writer and friend. The celebration concluded with the alma mater played by the TCU band and a touching purple balloon release.
